Do you procrastinate a lot? I know I do. Are you someone who has so many projects in the backlog with just one thought in mind: How do I do this? And are you someone who looks up in vain hoping for some divine intervention because you just don’t have the time? Because, perhaps, you’ve wasted it all scrolling on Twitter and cooing at your precious fur babies?

Consider me guilty as charged.

And I’ll still do it any other day.

But what I also do any other day is waste a whole lot of time and still get my work done. Now how do I do that? I’ll show you. I’ll be making a blog section of a website/web app on Figma using a plugin.

Making a Blog section — Blueprint to High Fidelity

Step 1: Select Blueprint

Select the blueprint according to what you have in mind and start from there. This is what looked about right to me:

Step 2: Change the Background

Step 3: Change The Heading and The Subtitle

…and keep changing the document colors as you go along.

Step 4: Insert Images in The Placeholders

Step 5: Edit The Titles of The Blogs & Other Stuff

And voila! You have a blog section ready to go in just a few minutes! (don’t look too closely at the titles because your girl didn’t put much effort.)

Wanna Know How I Did That?

Magic. Just kidding! Check it out here!

Happy smart designing, mates!
